Lighting Control: LCedit+
by KirkLCedit+ is a cross-platform (Windows, OS X) lighting control software specifically for the low cost Lanbox stage/theater lighting systems hardware.
From the Web Site: The LCedit+ lighting editor is the human interface and supervisory program for LanBox(es). It extends the use of the classic LCedit dramatically, and it’s now the standard software for any LanBox. LCedit+ can be used on MacOS (PPC), OS X, Windows 2000/XP systems and is capable to communicate via network (AppleTalk and TCP/IP), serial/USB and MIDI (on OS X and Windows serial/USB and TCP/IP only).
Usage
Although a LanBox can run stand-alone, LCedit+ is advised to setup a LanBox, to edit and create lighting cues, etc. LCedit+ was also made for performing shows with up to 3072 light channels, and with any mix of conventional and intelligent lighting fixtures, so we advice to read at least the tutorial to learn some basics of LCedit+. MIDI and serial usage can be found at the “Midi setup” chapter of the LanBox user manual and in the LC+ Reference Manual.
